After the round
Casino Nova Scotia Sydney After Golf
Some of your group will head home after the last hole, and some will stay on. This page lists what the building has, so nobody goes looking for a poker table that is not there.

What the floor holds
As of April 2025, the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation's count at the Sydney casino came to 280 slot machines. It counted no table games. The electronic table games listed for Sydney are $3 Blackjack and $1 Roulette. So anyone in your group who wants cards or a wheel plays on a screen, not across from a dealer.
Floor hours are not published. The simulators keep their own schedule, from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., but that says nothing about the gaming floor. Before planning floor time after a late round, call the casino at 902-563-7777. The same call settles the holiday question too, since those hours are not posted either.
Dealers and poker are in Halifax
Casino Nova Scotia Halifax, at 1983 Upper Water St in Halifax, is the only place with live table games and poker; Sydney offers neither. If anyone in your foursome wants a dealer or a poker hand, plan a Halifax night. Call the Halifax casino at 902-425-7777. It also lists electronic craps, as $3 Craps, alongside $5 Blackjack.
The Sydney casino's pages say nothing at all about bingo, keno or sports betting. None of them is needed for a golf night.
One card, two casinos
Joining the Player's Club costs nothing, and one card is good at both the Halifax and Sydney casinos. Anyone signing up has to be at least 19, complete a short application and present valid government-issued photo ID. Among the listed benefits is member pricing on food.
There are four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Privé. A member's level follows the points collected over the last six months. The casino says benefits depend on play.
